BND Automated Clearing House (ACH) software is designed to electronically originate and receive automated clearing house items. Through our network system, any financial institution in the state can offer
its customers the convenience of ACH.
This means every financial institution has the ability to offer:
- Automatic bill paying for its customers.
- The receipt of funds (pay checks or social security checks) automatically credited to the customer's account.
- Corporate customers ACH origination services.
Some examples of the many ACH services BND can provide are:
- ACH paper returns and NOC's for government and commercial transactions.
- ACH noncommercial and commercial receivers could receive their commercial and government ACH transactions using BND as their receiving point.
- ACH and Fed cash letters with settlement through our Federal Reserve account.
- ACH origination capabilities at BND allow North Dakota banks to process their customer's ACH transactions by sending BND a tape or diskette to process.
- ACH data can be sent directly to BND via PC.
